Met with an interesting guy today who help people like us to publish and distribute children's books. What's great is he isn't just a "consultant" who charges for his "service", but will actually puts his mouth where his money is and gets involved with the marketing and take fees for performance.
Will look forward to hearing his ideas next week.

We now have two books available!
Angela just signed off on the draft for printing on her second book "Disco Dinosaurs" following "Frank the Cat" !
We are in discussions with a distributor/publisher to get these little wonders out into the market, especially with Christmas buying coming up. Any ideas???

Woo hoo we're on!!!
First blog...let me tell you about what we are doing!
Angela Kelman had written a Juno nominated children's cd a few years ago. We kept thinking that the words to the songs drew such visuals that some would make great books. Well, she just published the first, an unbelievable catchy tune called "Frank the Cat" (who thought he was a dog).
Enclosed with the book is a cd of "Frank the Cat" sung by Angela, with track two a kareoke version.
So, the child can:
1. read the book
2. read the book while listening to the song
3. just listen to the song or
4. sing the song to the karaoke track
It is a well documented fact that music and learning go hand in hand and this little package will positively entertain and facinate the child while enhancing the reading and learning processes.
The book is available at http://www.singalongbooks.ca/
Thats all for now! More to come!
